Here I created a conceptual piece; the identity and branding of a futuristic Smart Medical Device, The MedSense. The MedSense is a personal medical mini-laboratory that works inside a user’s bloodstream to provide valuable real-time data. This laboratory takes the form of an autonomous micro-robot with a multitude of sensors. Invisible to the naked eye, it’s quickly and easily injected via a solution by a trained medical professional. There, the MedSense provides data that can be monitored in real-time by the user, doctor, and others given privileges.

I used interviews to determine users for this high-tech smart device. Based on gathered user data I was able to work with them to determine desired functionalities. With specific functionalities in mind, I created branding, user flows, and interactive mockups for the smartphone and smartwatch to give an idea of what the device will look like in action. With those interactive mockups, I was able to gather user feedback and iterate on the design to better meet the users’ needs.
